- eRaay survey translation file is an excel based template file where the source question information is provided and the user is expected to type or “copy and paste” the respective translation texts in the same file. The translation file is uploaded into eRaay platform in order to overlay translation.
- The template file has following columns:
- QuestionID
- QuestionNumber
- Question
- QuestionDescription
- SectionHeader
- Answer
- Answer2
- Answer3
- Question_long
- QuestionDescription_lang
- SectionHeader_lang
- Answer_lang
- Answer2_lang
- Answer3_lang
- No change should be made from column A to column H.
- The translation text should be set as per the following:
- Translation text for column I goes into column I
- Translation text for column J goes into column J
- Translation text for column K goes into column K
- Translation text for column L goes into column L
- Translation text for column M goes into column M
- Translation text for column N goes into column N
- For column L, the text pattern must be maintained. For example, if there is a value Male~Female exists in column F, then we should have “X~Y” like pattern in column L. The separator character tilde (~) must be maintained correctly. The same must be maintained for column M and column N.
